It`s true that sometimes we are feeling low in energy, maybe our emotional state is not optimal, or maybe we simply feel a bit disconnected from our craft or practice. Sometimes we don`t have the time, the energy or the motivation to perform elaborate rituals; and that is COMPLETELY OKAY, there are many ways in which we can slowly come back to our spirituality.
I came up with a few ideas for you:
- Checking planetary positions: if you are into astrology or connect with the planetary energies, dedicate a few minutes every morning to check on them. An amazing app I would recommend for this is ASTRO MATRIX (for android) it gives you information of all the current planetary transits and how they relate to your personal birth chart.
- Drinking tea with intention: This is honestly one of my favourite practices, it`s so easy to do yet so effective and can have a huge impact on my day. All you have to do is drink certain herbal teas according to their properties (for example: chamomile for motivation, lavender for relaxation, cinnamon for energy, etc). Or you could simply speak your intention while you are making your tea, no matter what herb you are using.
- Drinking cystals infused water: This practice is quite self explanatory, all you have to do is drink filtered water that has been previouly infused with crystals. One way (and the safest) you can do this, is by placing a glass of water in the middle of a bunch of crystals for a few hours, so the water can “absorb” the energy of the crystals and their properties. You can even mix this practice with the one above! I personally do this in a daily basis with citrine.
- Affirmations: What is something that you want to mannifest in your life? money, love, health, a new phone? whatever it is you can use afirmations for that. You just have to came up with a simple short phrase that describes and asks for what you want and then repeat it. I would reccomend doing it either on the mornings or at night.
- Elemental self cleansing: For this all you need is nature and a element you connect with, for my is air, so when i’m feeling a bit down I go outside and imagine that the wind is cleansing my energy as it passes. If you connect with water, try taking a shower o even just washing your hands, if you connect with fire try lighting some candles or go outside and imagine the sun is cleansing you, if you connect with earth try walking barefoot on a park, or try talking to plants.
- Making notes for deities, the universe or whatever you believe in: I’ve done this a few times, when i’m felling low in energy but still want to express my gratitude towards my gods. What I would do is write little short notes dedicated to them and I will leave them on their altars.
- Lightning candles: Lighting candles always gives a vibe of mysticism (at least for me). Try lighting a few candles for different intentions, you can even use colour correspondances.
- Lightning incense: As an offering, for cleansing or simply for creating an atmosphere; incense is amazing and it doesn't requiere a lot of energy.
- Spraying your room: Similar to incense, but without the smoke are sprays. You can make your own by simply using water and salt (or adding herbs, crystals, sigils, etc) and spray it in your room when you feel it needs a little energy cleanse/boost.
- Shufflemancy: If you love music this is definetely the practice for you, all you have to do is use the suffle option on you music player and the song is cames up is the one that has a message for you.
- Watering plants: All you need is water (and plants, of course). Watering plants can be a really relaxing experience and can help you ground yourself.
- Using a pendulum: Try using a pendulum , you don`t even have to asks deep questions, the simple fact of using it and getting correct answers from it will put you in a really high vibrational state.
- Wearing crystals: Maybe the most common one, wearing crystals requieres almost no effort, you just have to carry them with you and they will influence you and your energy without you even noticing.
